Property Description
Full of character and charm, Oak Lodge is a quality B&B just 3 minutes north of Greymouth and has a rural outlook. There are 5 large comfortable bedrooms waiting for you, all on the second floor, 4 have ensuites and one a private bathroom just across the hall. Each room has its own TV, chairs and bath robes. There is also a guest lounge with tea and coffee making facilities, TV, microwave and leather lounge.
Oak Lodge has been designed with your relaxation in mind. Soak in the hot tub, relax in the sauna, play a game of tennis or Billiards. Feed the Sheep or relax in the garden.
A continental and full breakfast is served each morning, choose from the breakfast menu, or enjoy a continental breakfast, perhaps just a fresh muffin or pastry with a cuppa or a coffee.The choice is yours.
Warm, friendly, relaxing atmosphere. Alastair and Shirley have been sheep and cattle farmers in the past and extend a warm welcome to you. Children over 12 yrs are welcome, tariff same as adult.
Also available is Oak Tree Cottage a one bedroom, self catering cottage, superking bed ( can be made into singles with 24hrs prior notice) full kitchen, washing machine and large deck area. Sleeps 2.

"We have just spent two nights at Oak Lodge. Shirley and Alistair offer wonderful warm hospitality together with first class facilities. The rooms are furnished to a high standard. The guest lounge has a wonderful view over fields. The breakfast menu is generous and varied. We also enjoyed the opportunity to feed the sheep and meet the sheepdogs as well as holding a newly laid egg! After a few nights in anonymous motels it was lovely to stay somewhere and get such personal attention in such comfortable surroundings."
