"Everyone loved having the cottage as a home away from home. Nicely appointed, pretty setting and very quiet BARB - Apr 2, 2016 (Stayed Mar 2016)"

"Hi there! I just wanted to write a quick note to thank you for my most enjoyable stay at Konini - a very comfortable and relaxed trip - lovely breakfasts and a peaceful outlook. I also very much enjoyed the luxury of my own bathroom (and bath!). Thanks also for the book swap - it would have been awful to leave it unfinished :D Hope you both have a great 2012, and perhaps see you another time in Waikenae! All the best, Cathy"

"Bob and Maggie were the perfect hosts and everywhere the homely touches were delightful. Bob's craftmanship as a cabinet maker was reflected in the high quality of the furniture throughout the self contained suite in its own wing of the main house. We enjoyed the range of Maggie's own grown and homemade produce and we would not hesitate in recommending this B & B homestay to anyone visiting Waikanae Beach and the Kapiti coast."

"LETTER TO THE EDITOR KAPITI OBSERVER NEWSPAPER NOV. 4TH 2010 On October13 we had occasion to Stay at Konini Cottage B&B and then eat dinner at Drift Restaurant, Both situated at Waikanae Beach. I would like to say that my husband and I found both these places absolutely wonderful, the people friendly and the food delicious, both the dinner and the breakfast next morning. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending these two locations To any tourist who ventures that Way. Konini Cottage was warm and homely with tui singing right outside the front door and the view from the Drift Restaurant was Incredibly beautiful over Kapiti Island. Jane Diment Rotorua"

"Lovely place, nice and clean. The kids enjoyed roaming the beautiful gardens and feeding the chooks. Janet Thain - Nov 3, 2009"

"We hope you are having a good fall. We have returned home to Seattle, where spring is well underway. Our daffodils opened up in our absence, and the fruit trees should follow soon. We had a great trip, enjoying so many places and experiences, but we all agreed that our favorite place was your cottage, and getting to meet the two of you. You made us feel very welcome, we loved the cottage and the garden, and the proximity of the beach and easy bus service. All in all, it was just perfect. Thanks again for letting us share your slice of paradise! Best, Martha"
