Imagine a classic villa surrounded by beautiful, mature gardens, located in a quiet cul-de-sac on the Miramar Pensinsula of Wellington (New Zealand's coolest city), the city that is considered the "Middle of Middle-Earth", close to where Peter Jackson and his team created the epic Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies and only a 4-minute drive from the beach as well as a short stroll from the Miramar shops and Roxy Cinema - designed and furbished by the Weta Workshop - also only a few minutes from Botanica.

This is the Botanica Homestay, offering apartment-style accommodation in the main house and a separate Garden Studio for a more private setting.

In the Homestay you will have the entire downstairs floor for your private use, catering for up to four guests. This includes:

- a "main" bedroom with a queen-size bed,
- a second bedroom with a king-size bed,
- a conservatory (or sunroom) with views of the front garden,
- a lounge with a TV, DVD player and a computer,
- French doors that open onto the gardens, a small fridge and a microwave,
- an outside sitting area, and
- a modern bathroom for your private use.

In addition to these comforts, you'll enjoy free, secure wireless internet and the use of a desktop computer (iMac) in the downstairs lounge for fast Internet access if you did not bring your own laptop or mobile device. A wireless printer is also available.

The TV in the lounge comes with a DVD player and SKY decoder with movie, news and sports channels. A selection of DVDs of various titles is available if you want to enjoy a movie, and CDs for music.
Coffee and tea making facilities are available in the sunroom. You can also enjoy our delightful mature gardens, full of flowers and comfortable outdoor seating.

The Garden Studio has a queen-sized bed, modern private en-suite bathroom, Freeview TV, DVD/Blu-Ray player, fridge, microwave, free WiFi and lots more! Sleeps up to to 2 people (plus an infant in a portacot, if needed).
