Property Description

Welcome to our spacious smoke-free home. The guest room is situated on the ground floor of our home with it's own private shower room and toilet. The room opens on to a private small garden, with seating among native ferns, shrubs and trees.
We also have a room that is dedicated to a collection of railway memorabilia.

Sea Haven is about 200 metres from Raumati Village which has several restaurants, boutique shops and cafes. Stunning Raumati Beach is across the road from the village as is Marine Gardens where Kapiti Miniature Railway is situated. They have various locomotives running on Sunday afternoons, weather permitting.

For those visiting Kapiti Island or who enjoy beach walks, a 3.5km stroll starting at Raumati Beach heading north will take you to Paraparaumu Beach and shops. For keen golfers, we are roughly 4 km from Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club and 5.5km from Kapiti Golf Club.

"This is a first class B&B, Jan and Laurie are such a considerate couple, ensuring our stay was as enjoyable as it could be. Attentive but not intrusive and treated us as family - will definitely visit again. Loved their sense of humour and attention to detail. If you are a motor homer they have a lovely POP too, tranquil - it felt like we had been away for a week instead of a long weekend. Best minibreak ever :-)"

Doug/Lois Campbell, 10/09/2010

"Welcomed with open arms and a welcome cup of tea. we arrived just as Jan & Laurie were about to get a take away dinner and were immediately asked to join them - this we did and were also treated to ice cream to follow. Jan & Laurie then took us on a lovely guided tour of the area showing us the magnificent views from a lookout we would never have found on our own. Accommodation was excellent with a beautiful outside area of our own. Hospitality at it's best - the next morning we even got a tour of the 'railway room' - wow!! Highly recommended"

"This B&B was of the highest quality, everything that you could possible want was available. The guest room and facilities were totally private and spotlessly clean. Jan and Laurie were the perfect hosts and we spent an enjoyable evening in their company. Would have no hesitation in returning on future visits to New Zealand. John and Christine Jackson (England) Oct 2007."
