Te Horo Farmstay is a newly converted milking shed at Te Horo Equestrian Centre. This comfortable rural retreat is private, gets all day sun and has green country views in a peaceful setting. The farm animals can be enjoyed by children of all ages; these include pet sheep, pet cows, peacocks, ponies and horses, also dog and cat. Pony rides, treks and riding lessons are available by arrangement. The hill-top walk is an amazing excursion on sunset when Kapiti Island is silhouetted against a red sky and there are 360 degree views of Te Horo.
Otaki outlet shops are just 7 mins to the north and Waikanae has cafes, an open-air pool, and Shoreline Cinema. Also the commuter train network to Wellington - just one hour away. Te Horo beach is just 4 kms.
