"We stayed with charming hosts, Willie and Kathleen, on 4 and 5 May 2011. Our beautiful "blue room" was very attractive and comfortably furnished . Finnimore House has a good location with easy access to CBD, beach and main motorway. Willie's tasty breakfasts and lively conversation were a wonderful way to start the day and the atmosphere was so comfortable, we felt that we were staying in a friend's home."
"September 28/29, 2010. One of the best places we stayed in NZ. A beautiful and historic house. Well worth to stay!"
"We had a wonderful stay at Finnimore House. Willie was a wonderful host with lots of suggestions for day trips. He also cooked super breakfasts and made us feel most welcome. We would love to return."
"We absolutely loved our stay with Willie & Kathleen."
"A stay at Finnemore House is so enjoyable it encourages one to return to New Zealand just to repeat the experience."
"We were extremely happy staying at Finnimore House for 2 nights in June 2005. Willie and Kathleen are gracious hosts and warmly welcome you into their family home. Accommodation is supurb! David & Jacqui Price Wollongong, NSW, Australia"
"Finnamore house is a delight. Willie is full of life, helpful and a charming and welcoming host. This was more like staying with old friends than a B&B experience. A must for anybody loving a good conversation and a warm welcome. A joyful experience, one that I would recommend to anyone. I look forward to our next visit."
"Thank you kindly for your kind welcome and interesting conversations. A true homestay, not a B&B."
"This was my first visit to New Zealand. The folks atFinnimore House immediately made me feel welcome and it was quite similar to feeling at home. I really appreciated the interaction with them. I did not feel "here it is contact us if you want anything". Casual conversation enable me to really get to know NZ. They were most helpful with refining my trip through local area and the rest of New Zealand. Both are excellent ambassadors for New Zealand. I rate them to be the highest I could rate."
