"Welcoming hosts Comfortable beds Very good breakfast Enjoyed our stay"

N & G Brandon, 04/02/2014

"I saw Elaine and Murray's place while searching for accomodation handy to Zealandia. I found their home warm and welcoming and greatly enjoyed my brief visit there. I look forward to the next time I go, and hopefully with Andrew to share their company. Thankyou. Sandy, (Kiwi now living in Adelaide, S. Australia)"

Sandy Dickson, 17/04/2013

"Elaine has years of experience in the hospitality industry and yet we felt less like paying guests than like welcome cousins from abroad. We enjoyed eating excellent continental breakfasts together with our hosts and appreciated the personal touches such as transport to and from the airport (not a short distance!) and even having our laundry done. Murray has a wonderful, dry sense of humor, and Elaine's advice was always spot on. Ollie, their dog, is delightful. We very much appreciated their generosity and engagement with us. The Campbells live a very short distance to a bus stop into Wellington City, and we were happy to be able to purchase day passes for the city buses rather than wrestle with a rental car. Our conclusion: why stay anywhere else when the Campbells offer such a marvelous homestay experience?"

"This was our first experience of homestay although we have visited NZ many times before. This is a definitely the best option as it was a 'home from home". A wonderful experience. 5/12/03"

John and Hilary Moore, 28/01/2005

"Wonderful stay - we were met at the ferry terminal at rush hour and taken to the home. We were loaned a car until our rental car arrived. We were given good hints and advice. Excellent value for money. Muslie to die for!"
