"We stayed here with Christopher and Alasdair along with the beautiful cocker spaniel puppies from the 16th Feb 2018, for our first week of four touring North Island. What a start, we could not have picked a better place, our hosts were more than helpful, the breakfasts were excellent, their advice on local restaurants, travel (use the train! Great!!) sights to see etc. All made the stay a relaxing and comfortable time. Many Thanks Chris and Alasdair."

"I had an excellent stay at Devenport Estate in January/2018 and certainly enjoyed it. My room was spacious with a nice view. The bed and bedding were excellent. The bathroom was immaculate with a roomy shower. The breakfast was substantial, with lots of variety. Chris and Alisdair where outgoing hosts; the Cocker Spaniel puppies even more so. All in all it was a great stay and I would recommend Devenport to anyone. We are fortunate that they decided to get back into the B & B business after their hiatus. Ignore the skip in the referrals. Their hospitality did not miss a beat."

"Staying at the Devonport was one of the best experiences we had during our stay in NZ. The accomodations were outstanding and the setting couldn't have been more beautiful. Alasdair and Christopher went out of their way to make us feel at home while suggesting restaurants and points of interest. They also covered all of the small details - internet access, laundry assistance and a wonderful continental breakfast spread. When we go back to NZ our first stop will be the Devonport Estate!"

"This elegant B&B with it's own vineyard, was our favourite B&B in NZ. The view from our room was spectacular, and the homestead was filled with old-world charm and interesting 'antique' touches, although it was built in 2000."

"A beautiful home, lovely en-suite room, stunning views and a friendly welcome from Chris. A free washing service was very much appreciated. Highly recommended"
