"My husband and I have done extensive traveling throughout the world. A highlight of our trip to New Zealand was our stay at Bnb@Bidwell. Annie and her husband Ross are great conversationalists, gracious hosts and went above and beyond to ensure our time in Wellington and throughout New Zealand was memorable. The home is well located with beautiful views of the city and water. The cocktail hour and breakfasts were lively and delicious. We highly recommend staying here."

"We loved staying at the BnB at Bidwell. Our hosts Annie and Ross were just lovely and so helpful. They even ran us down to our conference, with all our bags, when we had been delayed. Their home is gorgeous and peaceful with amazing views. They serve a lovely breakfast also. I slept exceedingly well in a very comfortable bed and spacious well furnished and warm room. Would definitely recommend this place with its lovely hosts to anyone staying in Wellington and hope to be fortunate enough to be back myself some time soon :)"

"Annie took me in at very short notice when Wellington was booked out. I arrived feeling jaded and just wanting to lie down and within half an hour of meeting and talking with Annie and Ross felt rejuvenated. They were both very hospitable and I would definitely stay again Barbara McArdle"

"We were very privileged to stay with Annie and Ross during our recent visit to Wellington. They were wonderful hosts, even making sure we had an early morning wake up call at 4.30am to watch the Rugby World Cup Final! Their beautiful home is perfectly located to explore everything Wellington has to offer. Many thanks for a great stay."

"We had a rather unusual arrangement at Bidwell B&B. My wife and I stayed in Annie and Ross' home for seven weeks while I worked in Wellington. Annie was very helpful giving advice and accurate descriptions by email before we arrived in Wellington. Their home is a very beautiful two story colonial home with a gorgeous view of Wellington harbor. They have enough space and rooms that finding a quiet place was easy and privacy was always respected. They have a beautiful sunroom and backyard patio where we enjoyed sunrises and having the sun stream into the eating area during breakfast. In the evenings, this area was out of the direct sun and wind and was a delightful area for a glass of wine after work. Annie and Ross have lived in Wellington many years and were a wealth of knowledge about tourist attractions, restaurants, Wellington/New Zealand history, and even local politics. Breakfast usually consisted of homemade muesli, fresh fruit, toast, juice, coffee/tea and an opportunity to read the local newspaper. Their home is located a short 15 minute walk from bustling Cuba Street and is less than a 5 minute walk from two local bus stops making their B&B easy to reach for those that do not have a car. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Bidwell B&B and I would highly recommend it."

"We recently stayed at B&B on Bidwill for 4 days while attending WOW - Wearable Arts. This B&B is situated in a wonderful central location - a mere stones throw to central Wellington shops. The villa with great views over Wellington Harbour boasts great meals, comfortable beds & wonderful hospitality by Annie and Ross. For cleanliness, value for money & hospitality go no further - you will be impressed.Definitely a 10 out of 10 - thanks Annie & Ross - we will come again."
