"We booked a room at Tee-Tree Homestay to attend a nearby family party. We were warmly welcomed with afternoon tea and freshly baked biscuits, and made to feel very much at home. We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to chat with our hosts on arrival, and over breakfast the next morning. Although we arrived home quite late at night we felt able to make ourselves a cup of tea and sit in the lounge to unwind before retiring to our very comfortable room. We enjoyed a leisurely cooked breakfast and a friendly farewell. We would definitely return to Tee-Tree and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Having previously participated as "Home Hosts" we know that this is how it should be done! Many thanks."

"My sister-in-law along with my husband and I stayed with Carol and Quenten for 2 nights. Both the rooms were very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We had our own little wing in the house. It was ideal. Carol and Quenten looked after us beautifully. Carol made fabulous baking to suit my gluten free/dairy free diet and made a really yummy breakfast for us. She looked after our every need just like a caring mum would do, but keeping our privacy paramount also. Their home is very tastefully decorated and super clean and tidy. It is in a lovely area of town, being right next to a reserve with walking tracks, plus a golf course across the road. We would love to stay there again if we are back in Masterton and give it a top rating."

"Staying at the Tee Tree Homestay was fabulous! Right from the start Carol and Joe made us feel welcome and at home. Even through their emails we could pick up how friendly and sincere they were. The house is lovely and very comfortable. It is also spotless. It is very tastefully decorated and private. The bedroom is set up perfectly with a comfortable clean bed and wonderful sheets; they feel luxurious to slip into. There is a comfy large easy chair and magazines. A tray with yummy homemade cookies and facilities to make a cup of tea or plunger coffee is also available. Carol and Joe knew exactly when to give you the privacy you wanted as well as being very hospitable. They even generously offered to give us a lift and collect us from our dinner so we wouldn't have to worry about drink driving. The breakfast was to die for. Great value for money. Thank you so much for your generosity and friendliness, for being such wonderful hosts. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!"

"My husband and I stayed with Carol and Quenten for 2 nights. They are a lovely couple and instantly made us feel at home. The b and b is situated in a very nice area surrounded by a beautiful garden. Our bedroom was very comfortable and spacious as well as having the finer details like homemade biscuits, tea, coffee and water facilities outside of our bedroom. We had dinner which Carol made on our first night. Not short of all the trimmings and we even had a beautiful desert. It was like being out at a fancy restaurant only better. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this B and B as the place to stay if you're ever in Masterton."

"We stayed with Joe and Carol for one night only and wished we could stay much longer. They are a lovely couple who do everything possible to ensure the guests have a lovely stay. The house is beautiful, very tastefully furnished and the gardens gorgeous. The bed is comfy and it is quiet and peaceful. We even had supper with them on their 37th wedding anniversary, which was a privilege, and the food was yummy. Excellent stay and excellent value for money."

"Carol and Quenten are amazing hosts and made my partner and I feel very welcome when we stayed with them recently. Both my partner and I are gluten free and Carol did a great job at catering to our dietary needs. She should be commended for the yummy meals she provided. A gold mine of information about the area was most helpful. I would highly recommend a stay with Carol and Quenten next time your in the Masterton area you will not be disappointed"
