"if there was an 11 on the above scale that is what i would give the Oak House. Chis and Polly Buring are fabulous hosts and their B&B is a warm and unique place to stay. It is right in the main part of Martinsborogh, a boutique wine area. Both Chris and Polly are both involved in the wine making process - their stories made our stay with them even more special. also, Polly is a gourmet cook and the meals were fabulous. the bnb room we had was modern, clean and private."
"Great! Thanks."
"In the new year my husband, 8yr old daughter, myself and two friends experienced the most wonderful weekend at Oak House. The Burings hospitality was superb, along with the charming surroundings, yummy breakfast, interesting tour of the winery and of course the wine! The secret garden with its ducks and hens wandering about is particularly appealing to children, as well as the huge 'ground sweeping' Oak that you can picnic underneath. Polly was also particularly helpful in returning a left behind item of luggage. We'll be back!"
"The best homestay we have stayed in to date. Polly and Chris are excellent hosts. They also make a fine Pinot Noir which they encourage sampling of. The breakfast is superb and more than anyone can manage! They are also good at advising which sites are worth seeing. We will definately stay here again."
