Te Hiwi B & B accommodation is a modern environmentally friendly stone veneered home set in the Waikato countryside at Pukerimu, near Cambridge, New Zealand, surrounded by horse studs, horticultural and lifestyle blocks. It is private and peaceful with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. There are two B & B bedrooms in their own wing, both have queen beds. Depending on your requirements a third, single room can be provided. These rooms share a common bathroom (walk in shower, toilet and vanity) which is exclusively for their use.
The Owners facilities are in another wing at the opposite end of the house. In between is the Living room, Family/Dining room and Kitchen. Guests are welcome to relax in this area. An outdoor living area, is also available for guests. The house is set in an extensive garden, which guests are free to wander around. Your hosts, Rob & Yvonne Singleton, will make sure your stay is an enjoyable one, providing you with a homely atmosphere as well as a continental or cooked breakfast, which can be varied to cater for different dietary requirements. Te Hiwi B & B has a pet cat in residence.
The B & B is within 10 minutes drive of Hamilton International Airport, Mystery Creek (site of the Agricultural Fieldays & other Events), Avantidrome Home of Cycling stadium, and Lake Karapiro. Hobbiton is an easy 30 minute drive away. Te Hiwi B & B is about 5km to Cambridge (population approx. 19,000), the nearest town, where there are a wide range of restaurants for evening dining.
Hamilton City is about 20 minutes away with an extensive range of entertainment and eatery alternatives.
Rotorua, Tauranga, Waitomo Caves, Lake Taupo and Raglan are within 1 to 1.5 hours so are an easy day trip.

There is a host of public and private gardens from the grand to the intimate where visitors can enjoy a picnic, a quiet stroll, celebrate a wedding or hold a major event. Cambridge is also well-suited to those who enjoy a walk or cycle ways. Cambridge is the National Home of Cycling with the world class international Avantidrome velodrome Cambridge also has two of the country's most beautiful waterways and exciting water activities - the 'Mighty' Waikato River and Lake Karapiro with swimming, rowing, kayaking, jet boating, skiing, cruising and fishing available to all within minutes of the town centre. Cambridge is the Equine Capital of New Zealand with some of the world's best racehorses have been bred here while many thoroughbred and standardbred trainers are based in the district. Enjoy a pleasant drive through the countryside and admire to admire these stud farms. Cambridge is just 21.5km or an 18 minute drive from the world famous Hobbiton where you can enjoy a tour of The Lord of the Rings(LOTR) and now Hobbiton set used in Sir Peter Jackson's Hobbit movies of J.R.R Tolkien's epic stories. Cambridge is also less than an hour's drive from one of New Zealand's most popular tourist destinations, the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, where visitors enter the caves by boat, gently gliding beside stalactite and stalagmite formations and getting close up to the wonder of glow worms.
