"Wonderful B&B."

"Excellent freshly cooked breakfast of farm fresh eggs and homemade bread. Cosy beds and spotlessly clean bathrooms. Charming decor."

Krishti Chatterjee, 16/03/2011

"Received a very warm welcome after a long journey. Outstanding hospitality throughout, homely atmosphere, tidy room, friendly hosts - felt like home away from home."

"Outstanding property, friendly hosts, very homely, comfortable, nothing could be improved."

Beverly Dillion, 08/09/2010

"If you are looking for a hidden gem that offers tranquility, peace and delightful hosts you can't go past The Manor B&B. Nothing is too much trouble for Pat and Frank with big hearty breakfats, the best home bottled apricots and even home-baked bread. Little treats like home made muffins and tasty beetroot chutney were unexpected treats and showed the generosity of our hosts. There is no city noise in their gorgeous rural setting so sleep comes quickly in their very comfy beds and you wake to the sound of birds chirping in the morning frosty air. Close to town its the ideal place to stay when you visit the deep South. We'll be back. Steve Kallipilitis and Wendy Slieker"

"Fine, quiet, clean place. Hospitality with a captal H."

M E De Boer, 27/11/2008

"Pat and Frank are the perfect hosts and gave us a real Kiwi welcome. Our room was very comfortable and, like the gardens, immaculate. We especially enjoyed having a delicious dinner of home grown produce with them and finding out more about the local area. We'll certainly stay at The Manor if we visit Invercargill again. Pat & Brian Gage, Great Missenden, Bucks UK"

"My husband and I were delighted with the quality of our room and the whole property in general. The host couple were lovely people and couldn't have been more helpful. Being in a farm setting but just a few minutes out of town was a real bonus."
