"We stayed in their self contained unit for two nights in their full fitted self contained flat. This is was a great experience, the unit is beautifully fitted out with everything you need even down to dressing gowns in the bathroom. The kitchen has cooker, microwave and fridge plus washing machine. The cutlery and china are all excellent quality. The only down side is the size of the unit although there is a comfortable sofa and large flat screen tv. The Bathroom is complete with modern shower unit but no bath. This unit is called Duck Flat which is soon obvious when you enter because of the large number of duck pictures duck motifs and duck figures. The unit is exceptional in my view and very good value for money. Of interest also are the animals, namely two dogs, a peahen, a horse, sheep, a longhorn steer and an alpaca. The hosts are very helpful and obviously have taken great care in the design and fitting out this unit. Many thanks for a great stay."

"I stayed here with my husband for one night in the Rose Room. It was my first B&B stay in NZ and it made me committed to staying at more!! The house was spotlessly clean, and Ricky (Erica) and Andrew were just the right amount of welcoming - happy to leave us to do our thing but seemed genuinely happy to show us around too. Breakfast was generous verging on the vast (well they are British, I suppose). Just out of Geraldine - it was really perfect."
