Property Description

The Space

Modern 3 bedroom house with 2.5 bathrooms and 2 lounges. You have private use of the downstairs suite, which includes your queen bedroom and bathroom. Private lounge with TV, gas heater and breakfast facilities (fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave ). Private outdoor deck area, with Otago Peninsula and Dunedin city views

Continental breakfast, fruit, cereal, toast, juice, tea, coffee and milk provided, this will be available in the downstairs lounge area.

The property is located 8 minutes from Dunedin City, and 10 minutes from Larnach Castle, we are on the Otago Peninsula on the way to Larnach Castle, the Albatross center and Penguins.

This is a truly New Zealand setting and I'm sure you will have a lovely stay.


Guest Access

A key will be provided on arrival, you will have a lot of space and privacy. You can come and go as you please. The kitchen is not available for cooking meals. The downstairs lounge area has breakfast facilities.
There is parking for a car but not suitable for a camper van. The laundry is not available but we can recommend a good laundromat close by.

Interaction with Guests

I'll leave you to do your own thing, but I can help with info on the area or travel plans.

The Neighborhood

This is a very lovely safe neighborhood, it's a coastal area with lovely scenery and upmarket houses. It's an easy 8min commute to Dunedin City but a sanctuary to the hustle and bustle of the City.

St Clair beach, one of New Zealand's best beaches is a 10 min drive away, there are lovely restaurants overlooking the beach.

Dunedin City has a extensive shopping Plaza with all the shops you could ever want.

There is a local takeaway and convenience store within walking distance.

Getting Around

It's a 5 min walk to the bus stop that will take you to the City. Alternatively you can rent a car from Dunedin Airport.

Dunedin has amazing scenic train trips that leave from the City.

I have just started a passenger service business Driver2Go Ltd and can now do transfers from the Airport, you would need to book with me. Driver2Go is much cheaper than a taxi.

Other Things to Note

I have information on the local takeaways that deliver, in-case you arrive in the evening.

There is a cat living here, she is a very lovely Siamese cat, called Chino :)
