"We spent a week at Villa Russell & found plenty to occupy us in the township - mostly without driving anywhere - and it was mid winter! There are many & varied walks, good cafes & coffee, museums & other historic points of interest as well as the ferry to Paihia or a cruise to the islands. Villa Russell is very comfortable and warm (like the hospitality) and we looked forward to the beautiful cooked breakfasts every morning. The views over the water from our room were stunning."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this BnB. The owners Sue & Stephen were very friendly & helpful. The room was very comfortable and it was lovely to wake up to that lovely view with the sound of Tuis just outside. I recommend the cooked breakfast- set the day off to a great start. We would definitely stay there again."
