Property Description
The Devonshires at Tata Beach invite you to enjoy their comfortable home and stroll to the nearby beautiful golden beach. A tranquil base for exploring the truly scenic Golden Bay, the Abel Tasman Walkway, Kahurangi National Park, Farewell Spit, amazing coastal scenery, fishing the rivers or visiting interesting craftspeople. Brian has had an interesting life involved in education, a keen fisherman and tramper, and a wine and American Football buf. Susan enjoys crafts, painting, gardening and practising her culinary skills. Hermione and Missy Puma are the resident cats. Longer visits welcomed.

"Never having stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before my sister,my brother and myself were absolutely overwhelmed by the hospitality of Susan and Brian. We hope to stay with them in the summer again. Wonderfully helpful and congenial hosts, beautiful ensuite accommodation, excellent dinner as well as breakfasts, and advice tailored to our interests, with a visit to the home of a local artist, accompanied by our hostess. Far too short a visit. We absolutely will go again and will recommend the Devonshires highly to anyone going "over Takaka Hill" to the Golden Bay area."
