We bought this as bare land 35 yrs ago and set about creating a home for our 3 children. Now we are surrounded by gardens, trees, birds and produce and have created a welcoming place for friends, family and visitors to come and enjoy. The kids have flown and we enjoy having visitors to share our bounty.
We have created a self contained unit which has a kitchen and living area and 1 bedroom. At the other end of the house is another bedroom with ensuite. It's suitable for friends travelling together who can share the kitchen, or a family with older children.
Pure spring water supplies us with the best drinking water you could find anywhere. It is so abundant there's enough to run our 65m waterslide, the duck pond and the gold fish pond.
Step across the road for world class trout fishing, or enjoy a refreshing swim.
The house has been a labour of love and the self contained accommodation is a relaxing self contained haven surrounded by gardens.
Our road is part of the bike trail along the beautiful Motueka Valley.
We have a 1km track to the top of the hill for spectacular views of the mountains, valley and out to sea.
Pets allowed with prior approval. Must be kept tied up and outside only. We have native weka birds roaming the gardens and we can't have dogs or cats roaming.

Around the corner from us is the road to the Kahurangi National Park where you can enjoy some stunning day walks in the mountains and experience the unique NZ environment. The Abel Tasman National Park is 45 mins drive and the Nelson Lakes National Park an hours drive from here. Each is unique. Golden Bay is a good day trip and we can recommend some highlights. If you enjoy horse riding look up Baton Run horse trekking which is nearby and highly recommended. On our own property we have a track to the top of the hill. 20mins walk up hill with spectacular views. Also don't forget our waterslide which has become a local attraction. All donations go to local charities.
