"A perfect place! John and Paulette made us feel so welcome. The breakfasts were excellent and it was interesting to share it with our hosts and other guests. It was perfectly situated for a winery tour by bike and John was very informative about which cellar doors to visit. Also there were recommenadations about where to eat in the evening. A lovely home and perfect hosts."

"A 5 star stay in a 5 star location. Comfortable luxury with charming hosts. Leaving here was a wrench. We loved the modern art-work on display."

"The room was amazing, the view awesome. We felt so welcomed and enjoyed two of the best cooked meals with wine tasted on our trip in the spring of 2005. We intend to return in September 2006. We had a super wine tasting day organised for us. Paulette and John were truly wonderful hosts."

"We were in New Zealand almost three weeks, staying mostly in B&Bs. Stonehaven in Blenheim was our favorite place. We would give Paulette and John a "10" in all categories - breakfasts, a wonderful dinner, beds, cleanliness, hospitality, value for money, etc. They really made us feel like family, and at the same time gave us as much privacy as we wanted. We certainly would recommend Stonehaven to all of our friends and would love to return some day."
