Property Description
Our waterfront accommodation is as close to the water edge as you can get. Seperate from our cottage are the aptly named and appropriately themed Boatshed and Pacific rooms with Italian cotton linens, ensuite and private bathroom. A long jetty (pier) out front is ideal for swimming, fishing or an evening stroll to see the water fluoresce. Fishing rods, lunch hamper, water activities are available or row the dinghy with picnic hamper to one of the golden sandy beaches. Handy to Queen Charlotte walking track, leave your suitcases with us (transport available if necessary) and walk for a few days or visit the many world class wineries, go on the mail boat or dolphin cruise. Good "base" to stay a night or two. Full activities menu in rooms, so plenty to do. We recommend you join us for an evening meal on the deck over-looking the water. Not just another B&B but an accommodation experience with a young, ideal, interesting and exciting NZ family. David and Vicki are warm and friendly hosts.They serve great meals, tell great stories and anticipate the needs of weary travelers superbly! Their boathouse and it's decor was a treat! "Wonderful cute bed and breakfast RIGHT on the water. Lovely teenage children who put on an amazing dance show! Great meal, caught and cooked right in front of our eyes.
