"Coming as strangers, leaving as friends! This was the most welcoming place we stayed in since we started our trip in November last year, and we have seen many! Why choosing Palmerston North? For us there were several reasons: We wanted to be off the beaten Track and see NZs hidden secrets in the countryside. And being an architect I fell in love with this outstanding state-of-the-art design and cutting-edge technology. And last not least there are Terri and Vince, both really lovely hosts and Clicquot, this charming little dog. We spent two nights with very stimulating conversations, had a very tasty dinner and wine from a well stocked wine 'cellar'. What do you need more? Thank you Terri and Vince for such an awesome New Zealand Experience! February 2017"

"Refreshstay rview This is the most awesome and welcoming accommodation I have ever experienced. It truly felt like home. Our hosts were fantastic, including the guest therapist, Cliquot, the most chilled-out dog ever. The food was amazing, the hospitality superb even extending to a guided walk along the banks of the Manawatu. The beds are comfy, there are spaces to mingle or you can choose to be alone if you wish though you'll likely not want to be alone with the company of such interesting and friendly hosts. There is much love and laughter in this place. I guarantee you will leave feeling totally refreshed."

"Terri and Vince provide outstanding accommodation and hospitality. They are warm and engaging hosts, everything is spotless and well organised and very comfortable (and gorgeous). The atmosphere is relaxing and the food fresh, tasty and beautiful. It is exactly what they say it is - refreshing and relaxing. An absolutely delightful experience."

"From the very first greeting I was made to feel so welcome. These guys could live in a tent and you would experience the same high quality hospitality that would make you forget where you were. Absolutely nothing to fault here. Definitely the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. Hospitality's best kept secret, but hopefully not for long. Not to be missed."

"I can really recommend staying at this place. The house is roomy and comfortable. The guest accommodation has large rooms, comfortable beds, a huge bathroom and a private area to sit. If you need it there is a desk and chair. The hosts are friendly and well travelled. You might arrive as a stranger but you will leave as a friend."

Vivien Downes, 18/11/2016

"This is a truly lovely place to stay. Very comfortable, quiet bedrooms, large bathroom with amazing shower, space to be private if required. And the hosts are so warm and welcoming, providing delicious coffee and breakfast. Easy walking distance to the centre of town and the beautiful Hokowhitu lagoon area. Highly recommended."

"I love coming here. My true home away from home, but better. We travel a lot and these digs rate right at the top; modern and very clean, own space, comfy bed and room, outstanding bathroom, warm and inviting hosts, fantastic collection of art and a dining experience second to none. I get cosseted and nourished and leave with my body rested, my mind stimulated and my soul fed."

Leslie, 18/11/2016

"This is more than just a place to stay, but what a place to stay it is. Five-star surroundings are the least of what these guys have to offer. Bring your love of good coffee, good wine, and good food on holiday or book somewhere else to stay. Enjoy art and warm invigorating hosts. Hidden away from the street in a quiet neighbourhood, you could not want more from your accommodation, and if you want less, this place is not for you."
