Heather and Allan welcome you to our special place in Levin - Fantails Accommodation. We offer a high standard of accommodation, B&B, self-catering cottages. These are all maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. Enjoy a delicious, home-cooked organic breakfast with homemade butter, cheese and preserves, which are sourced directly from the house garden and farm. Special diets and evening meals can also be prepared on request.
Flower beds, lawns, vegetables and century old trees attract a variety of birds. The tone achieved is tranquil and welcoming aiming for a quiet, warm and comfortable stay. The unique setting also has internet, secure parking, a laundry service and is close to golf courses, the Tararuas for tramping and beaches.
Fantails also offers you the opportunity to milk our house cow Molly, come face-to-face with thoroughbread horses or our Pitt Island sheep. Alternatively, you can learn something new by participating in one of our sustainable gardening tours or cheese-making courses.

"Just wanted to comment on how truely fantastic Fantails is. Both the accomodation and host were absolutely fabulous. It without doubt the quietest B&B in Levin. Heather the host / owner was an absolute delight. Nothing you needed was a problem. The little extra's that Heather would do as well such as baking daily organic lemon/lime muffins, or cookies or whatever else she would make that day. We returned to our cabin each night with some sort of goodies waiting for us as well as the guarentee that Heather had been in to turn on your electric blankets and turn the heater on. The home cooked breakfasts were awesome. Fresh fruit, toast (home made bread) juices, and full hot breaky. Nearly everything you eat from Fantails grows in one of Heathers gardens. Delicious. We both have already recommended the B&B to family and would not hesitate recommending to anyone in the future. We could not fault Fantails and look forward to our next stay."
