"We loved our stay at this place. Pam and John are such warm and welcoming people. Their house is gorgeous and every little thing at their place is very artsy. from the lamps, to the mirrors to the paintings to the hundreds of art deco books they have. Our visit began with a handy little pouch that they left on our bed with brochures and maps to all the places around. That was so helpful. The breakfast served was delicious and quite filling. And an additional delight to the stay was Molly and Jacob their little dog and cat respectively. Our little one enjoyed their company. Pam and John are very gracious hosts and I would be sure to visit them if I am in Napier ever again."

"We loved our stay here. Luxurious feel to it, 5 star treatment. Very clean & beautiful warm room, lots of natural light & enough space. Big bathroom with luxury amenities, great water pressure & enough warm water. The hosts are super quiet & if you would like a bit of a sleep in you wont even know they're there. Pam & John go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Attention to detail in presentation of breakfast. exquisite cutlery & crockery. Manicured garden with lots of morning sun & big windows. Everything was aesthetically beautiful. Luxury & comfort galore. If you enjoy the finer things in life, this will be the place for you."

"Perfect presentation, clean, comfortable, lovely continental breakfast & two really helpful hosts. We stayed four nights and this was the best visit to Napier that we have had, If and when we return to Hawkes Bay there is no doubt where we wish to stay. Sue & Alf Wellington."

"We stayed Feb 2016 in this lovely home with the large very nice garden. John & Pam were the perfect host and severed a wonderful breakfast and had all the info needed for the area. "This Property is exactly why we choose B&Bs rather than hotels. Here, you get truly personal service from hosts who really enjoy having you in their home. The service is so personal that they fly the guests' national flag during theis stay - Be it English, Scottish of Japanese! How special is that!!"

Alan & Margaret Cutler, 24/03/2016

"We've loved every minute of our 4 nights here. Special thanks to Pam & John for their hospitality, help with trips in and around Napier, tea and drinks in your beautiful garden, delicious breakfasts - and the BATH!"

"Absolutely lovely B&B, perfect for our weekend stay in Napier. Pam and John were so friendly and welcomed us into their home. The room was tidy and spacious, with a very comfy bed and bright windows. The bathroom was sparkly clean, there is a big spa bath which i unfortunately didn't get to use but looked amazing (Next time!). We walked into town one night and took a cheap taxi home so the location was perfect. I would certainly suggest it to anyone visiting and will hopefully return again myself!"

"A house absolutely perfect ! Excellent location , quiet, lovely garden and historic Artdeco home with wonderful decoratiion respecting the style...and Pam &John are really really really friendly. The breakfast is also perfect.

"Well, we're home after another wonderful holiday at Logan Art Deco B&B. It truly is my home away from home. John and Pam Thompson are the consummate hosts - kind, caring and attentive, whilst giving guests as much self-sufficiency as they require. I've stayed in many B&Bs in my travels, but this one is by far my favourite. Another benefit is that it's close enough to the centre of Napier (around $10NZD in a taxi) for convenience, but also in a quiet and beautiful area - in the heart of the best Art Deco homes in Napier."

Ally Hannon, 02/03/2014

"This is the wonderful place we stayed in Napier recently. It is the best B&B I've ever stayed at. It truly is a "home away from home". Your hosts John & Pam Thompson go out of their way o make you feel welcome. It's a beautiful location in a quiet street and cab fare to town is less than $10."

Kate Ferrett, 02/03/2014

"What a lovely experience this was! Pam & John you made us feel so at home and we loved your beautiful home. Thanks for giving us the chance to step out of our busy lives and experience a slice of something different."

Shiree & Peter De Veth, 03/02/2014

"Pam and John are open-hearted and genuinely welcoming hosts, willing to help with all manner of questions and arrangements. Their art deco home is lovely and beautifully appointed, with a spacious and comfortable guest room and private bathroom, and they're happy to share their interest and enthusiasm for the genre and Napier in general. It was a pleasure to stay with them, and the resident pets were a sweet addition. Thank you, Pam and John!"

M. Joseph, 06/03/2011

"Stay here if you want to visit Napier! This wonderful Art Deco home is featured in many of the illustrative books focusing on the architecture of this most interesting town. We very much enjoyed the congenial company of hosts, Pam and John whose knowledge and enthusiasm for the area greatly added to the pleasure of our stay. You can enjoy the Marewa walk from the doorstep - and the afternoon guided Art Deco is well worth doing. An excellent B and B - highly recommended."

Susan and Arthur Lyons, 05/03/2011

"This was our second stay with Pam and John and it was just as good as the first. The house is beautiful, the hosts are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Dietary requirements are happily organised. The location is perfect for getting into town and around Napier. I will certainly be back again."

Ally Hannon, 23/02/2011

"This was a top b & b experience. The house is charming with many original art deco features. Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable and the bathroom was stunning. Pam & John are delightful and knowledgable hosts and Molly the dog is a real cutie. Great value for money."

Rob & Jean Heard, 04/03/2010

"This was one of the loveliest B&B experiences I've ever had. Pam & John are truly delightful hosts - friendly and helpful without being imposing. The room is gorgeous, clean and very comfortable and the bathroom (next to room) is excellent with all necessary amenities provided. Great value for money. Meals were beautifully done and dietary requirements are no problem. Perfect location 5 minutes from city centre. I will definitely be back again. It really was a delightfully Deco stay."
