Property Description
The Puriris Self Contained Cottage is tranquil and quiet overlooking Hicks Bay with extensive views of Matakaoa Point and towards East Cape. The secluded Onepoto Beach below us is a safe sandy beach ideal for all recreational water activities - swimming, surfing and fishing and boating. We are located 45 minutes from East Cape and the most easterly lighthouse in the world.

"A hidden surprise with amazing views over Hicks Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Pauline offers a cooked dinner option or you can visit the restaurant bar down the road. It is less than 50 km from East Cape and light house. Wonderful breakfast alternatives made to order with some home made products also. Graeme and Pauline are cheery and welcoming hosts."
"This B&B was easy to find and a gem to stay at. When visiting the Hicks Bay area pamper yourself and stay a couple of days. Pauline and Graeme operate a fantastic cottage that is very clean and lovingly maintained. The bed provides you with beautiful sleep and a magnificent view of Hicks Bay from the pillow in the morning. The continental breakfast consists of home made goodies, yoghurts, jams, muffins and more. You will only be wanting to be there for the next day to be pampered again. We will be going again to this best kept secret overlooking Hicks Bay. Chris and Angie"

"Wonder location, accommodation and hospitality. It was tastefully furnished and extremely clean and had all that you need if you cook for yourself as we did. We were looking for a peacefully week and we certainly got that with views to die for. We will certainly be back."
