"Fantastic B&B."

Mr & Mrs J Bendle, 18/10/2013

"This beautiful house perched high above the road and looking out over the countryside towards the sea has lovely views. Its bedrooms are large and comfortable and its sitting accommodation, both outside and in, is excellent. We enjoyed both an outstanding evening meal and an excellent breakfast. As so often is the case, the greatest pleasure of our stay was the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere, with hosts with whom one could talk about a wide range of subjects and interests."

Frank & Rosemary Bigwood, 11/12/2010

"Magnificent views of Gisborne & farmlands. Fantastic friendly hosts. Very comfy beds in exceptionally clean & homely accommodation. Excellent breakfasts & meals. Nothing was too much trouble. Best value for money & best B&B on this trip. Just love the views."

"Our kids just loved this place, they fed the chickens, played with the dogs and even tried to catch some sheep! Breakfast was of course ten times better than at home! Kay and Don are wonderful hosts and their B&B is situated in a very lovely and peaceful surrounding."

"As regular visitors to the Gisborne area, we previously stayed in Motels, until we discovered "Fairlight" which is now our first port of call. Convivial hosts, luxurious beds, fluffy towels, views to take your breath away, and all within a few minutes drive to the city ! The warmth of Kay and Don's welcome is tangible and satisfaction assured. Make sure you place "Fairlight" on your list of things to do when in Gisborne. Enjoy the experience."
