Property Description
Welcome to our homestay, conveniently situated between Tauranga
and Rotorua Only 4 kms off state highway 36. *Central heating, Freeview TV, Free Wi-Fi* The homestay boasts a real country tranquility, nestled close to an untouched piece of NZ bush, with abundant bird life. We have now formed a short bush walk suitable for the more confident walkers. Using the latest rodent control methods to encourage the native bird life.
Our B & B is fully Eco-Friendly, harvesting rain water, solar hot water, and solar power - which leaves a very small carbon footprint and should help the planet we live on.
Our Bed & Breakfast has two bookable areas - The Guest Wing which has two bedrooms and a small guest lounge. The Guest Wing has room for a maximum of four people. There is a separate entrance door to allow guests to come and go as they please.
The Fountain Room is part of our house and has a queen bed, guests would use a private bathroom just across the hallway.
Your hosts Simon and Renu would love to spend time with you, and help organize any trips using their local knowledge. With a lifetime spent as dairy farmers we have a deep love for this country, and we are passionate about giving our guests the best possible time whilst at our homestay. Feel free to wander over our 8 acre lifestyle farm, and gardens. Not suitable for children under the age of 5 years old.
Ideally situated for day trips to Rotorua, Matamata (Hobbiton), and Mount Manganui (beach)
