We're back! Erica and Geoff welcome you to our new home, Taupo Lakeside Lodge; purpose-built for Bed & Breakfast. Past guests can look forward to the same warm hospitality they enjoyed at our previous, Qualmark 5-star, B&B lodge.

You've found the perfect spot beside the lake to relax and enjoy all Taupo has to offer. The emphasis here is on relaxation and homely country lodge style comfort. Situated only steps from the lake; beach towels and picnic rugs available for guest use.

Guest Rooms: Two purpose-built guest bedrooms, each with soundproofed walls and lockable bedroom door, comfortable king or queen bed, heating or fan with remote control, deep pile NZ wool carpet, flat screen HD TV, in-room tea & coffee making, ensuite bathroom with underfloor heating, heated towel rails, 'Bathe' marine skincare toiletries, large walk-in tiled shower with satinjet shower head. Double glazed sliding door opens to your own intimate outdoor sitting area.

Taupo is the events capital of New Zealand hosting many major national events such as the NZ Ironman. Take an easy stroll along the lake edge on the Great Lake Walkway between the town and 5 Mile Bay. Visit Huka Falls by foot or by boat. Take an informative yacht or launch ride to the Maori rock carvings. Bungy or Swing over the Waikato River. Lunch at a cafe overlooking the lake and mountains. Try tandem skydiving for a spectacular view! Visit the Honey Hive or Lava Art Glass studio and garden. Take a walk around thermal activity and mud pools at Craters of The Moon. Take a scenic flight by helicopter or float plane. Parasail over the lake. Try your hand at prawn fishing at The Prawn Park. Have a soak in thermal hot pools. Enjoy locally grown food and handmade crafts at the Taupo Market every Saturday morning. Take a stroll around Art in the Park on the weekends and maybe find a painting to take home.
