Property Description
New in 2016. We live on a beautiful peninsula with the house a stones throw from the inlet. It is located down a private road in a lovely quiet area. There is a geothermal 20 m swimming pool heated all year round with an additional hotter small pool. Please note that the pool is usually emptied Tuesday and Friday morning for cleaning. A tropical garden surrounds the property and adds an air of tranquility.
Two bedrooms are available, one with queen size bed and other with a king single. Ranch sliders open from the main bedroom onto a deck with access to a BBQ and outdoor furniture. The main bedroom has tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. The single room also acts as a sitting room with a desk and Freeview TV. We can provide a free laundry service if required.
Tauranga airport is only 25 km. Bethlehem shopping centre is a 15 minutes drive with Tauranga centre only 20 minutes away. Omokoroa Beach provides a safe swimming beach and is only 12 minutes away. A short 3 km loop walk provides access to a historical passive recreation park with views of the inlet and the Mount. For golfers, there is the beautiful Omokoroa Golf Club a mere 10 mins away. Other lovely 18 hole golf courses beckon and the host can provide further info.
We have no children at home and we now have no pets.

"Everything was perfect! Comfortable room, vast bathroom, beautiful modern house in a very quiet environment, nice tropical garden and Sharon & Colin are really friendly. The breakfast was also perfect (with fruits from the garden). The big swimming pool of natural hot water, just next to the house is a real happiness after a day of visits. The house is situated in an absolutely magnificent environment, in 15 minutes of the center of Tauranga. Sharon and Colin know well the region and gave us excellent advice for the visits. We strongly recommend this perfect BnB...that we left with sadness."
"Staying with Colin and Sharon over Auckland Anniversary weekend was delightful from start to finish, their guest facilities are very nice and they were very welcoming. The location is great as well with plenty of enjoyable was to relax on their doorstep. We particularly enjoyed their thermally heated swimming pool, the scenic estuary walks and being able to reach other great spots in the area with only a short time in the car. Highly recommended."
"Sharon and Colin are the perfect hosts. Their accommodation and location are perfect for a quiet and peaceful restful break away. Their hospitality, friendship and great breakfasts are something to be enjoyed. Located in a peaceful country setting at Plummers Point with great walks through orchards and along the inner Tauranga harbour. Just 15 minutes from the centre of Tauranga and Mt Maunganui, Sharon and Colin's "Tropical Delight BnB" and hospitality can't be beaten. We know, because we have experienced it over the last few day.
