Property Description

Puririflat is a boutique B&B on the hill overlooking the Sandspit inlet.
The house is an iconic Lockwood, a solid timber Eco house with huge timber beams, its own solar power and wood fired central heating from the Rayburn.
The large B&B room has an amazing view. From the king sized bed you can admire the water view and the hills beyond, from the deck a view over to Kawau Island and Little Barrier island.
The ensuite has a great walk in rain shower with room for 2.
The house sits on 3 acres of grounds, including organic olives and vines; the produce from which is sold on a Saturday morning at the local Matakana Farmers' market.
You are welcome to wander round and meet our tame Awapara black and white sheep and the black Arakana hens which lay green eggs!
Continental breakfast is included and served in the family dining room or on the deck, weather permitting.
Cooked eggs are available by arrangement.

"Super friendly hosts and a great room. Amazing shower and even better view. Hard not to feel instantly relaxed when you walked in. Could have sat on that deck looking at the view all day. Would definitely stay again."

"Charming welcoming hosts and a room with a view over the bay to die for. Good restaurants within a 10 minute drive plus a fine organic breakfast from their garden,"

"Fantastic place, very kind hosts and a wonderful overlooking of the bay. The breakfast is very good with homemade marmalade and fresh fruit, freshly made orange juice. Delicious! They gave us good tips for our journey, thank's for that!"

"Magnificent view, great hospitality, wonderful bed, wholesome and palatable breakfast, very nice hosts who kindly shared a lot of touristic details with us. Completely noiseless nights with starlit sky. Ten out of ten - we highly recommend this wonderful place."
