Helen's B&B is situated on the Kapiti Coast just one hour's drive from Wellington. With direct access to the beach, it is only a hop, skip and a jump before you are enjoying being on a long sandy beach. Helen offers warm, friendly hospitality in the comfort of her modern two-storey home. There is the choice of two guest rooms, the Kapiti Room (upstairs, with ensuite) and shared lounge/balcony, affording fantastic views of Kapiti Island and the Tasman Sea. On a clear day, one can even see the top end of the South Island! The other guest room is known as the Seaview Room (at ground level, with private bathroom) and a tantalising view of the sea. This room is large, bright and sunny with TV (free-to-air channels only). If guests wish to view Cable TV, they are welcome to join Helen in the main lounge. There are tea-making facilities in both guest rooms and a small bar-fridge for the convenience of guests.
With the sea on one side and the beautiful Tararua Ranges on the other, Helen's B&B is ideally situated. Helen is a foodie and enjoys cooking. Consequently she provides her guests with tasty home baking, and if required, dinner by arrangement (off-season only i.e. during months from June to September).
