First Class B&B. Within easy reach of the town, restaurants and port. Was made to feel totally at home and looked after exceptionally well. Great breakfasts, comforatble beds - nothing was too much trouble. After work one day, I Was even shown around the unspoiled countryside by bike.

An excellent B&B. Every comfort and a very caring host and hostess. Nothing is too much trouble and every facility you could want comes as standard. Probably the best B&B we have used in 4 years of touring N.Z.

This homestay offers the most fantastic accommodation, extremely comfortable with all the little extras, like a comprehensive choice of hot drinks to make, tourist information and supplies of soap and shampoo etc. We only stayed one night but we were made most welcome by Trish and John, and the breakfast was one of the best we had on our travels.

We were here with four people and stayed on almost the whole secondfloor of this imposing house. It was build in the early 1900s an was a very succesfull exemple of good crafswork, in a so good shape that you feel like living in an world where everything is perfect. Probably the effect of the house was made better by our kindly hosts who gave us good advice for dinner and the jouney, and a very good breakfast. We already are homesick of this place.

We were delighted with everything about this B&B. Our hosts made us feel right at home upon our arrival, welcoming us with conversation in the living room and a much needed cup of tea. Our room and the B&B in general were comfortable, beautiful, and immaculately kept. Although our room had an ensuite with its own shower, another guest bath with a deluxe tub was also made available to us and our toddler without hesitation. Our breakfast was delicious, with plenty of variety. This B&B is located within walking distance of the shops and sights. Although excellent for a family trip and great value for families with a modest budget, this B&B would also be a great getaway spot for two. We would definitely return for another stay.
