We welcome you to stay with us in our lovely Aoraki Lodge in the quaint town of Twizel which is now known as the "Gateway to Mt Cook".
Relax in the informal atmosphere of our large lounge room or under one of the vine covered pergolas set in the rambling country-style garden. Our Lodge is situated close to the centre of Twizel at 32 Mackenzie Drive - just a short walk to excellent restaurants, local clubs and facilities, yet offers complete privacy.
We would enjoy sharing with you the areas of interest we have discovered and also the variety of activities available in this spectacular and beautiful part of New Zealand.
Ian is a member of the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association and is a well known guide within the area. He will be able to advise on places of interest he has come upon in the interest of fishing ......

"Our stay at the Aoraki Lodge in Twizel was one of the highlights of our trip to New Zealand. The rooms were large, attractive, and very clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was delicious. Our hosts, Ian & Sandy were an excellent source of information regarding local and regional attractions and sightseeing. But best of all, they were so warm and friendly, we felt like family. We hope to return in the future and stay longer!
