We welcome you to a place of unsurpassed beauty located on the shores of Lake Pukaki, with magnificent views of the lake, Mount Cook and Southern Alps. Our local stone home blends in with the natural peaceful surroundings.
This high country station has been in our family since 1914 and runs mainly Angus cattle. Linda and son Ian enjoy sharing their knowledge of farming with guests. An opportunity to experience farm life with friendly hosts. Or visit many nearby attractions. Dinner by arrangement.

"Tasman Downs is in an idyllic location, and is simply a must for the views of Mt Cook and Lake Pukaki alone. Add to that the excellent hosts - thank you Linda for looking after me and the conversation, and the fantastic food!! Big thank you to Ian for the farm tour (well worth the extra). Definitely need to return on my next trip to NZ!!
