Relax in our superbly appointed and spacious 2 storey character brick home with sweeping views from the mountains to the sea. Refurbished with the feel of yesteryear, but with ambience and style you will love. All our children have left home with the exception of our labrador Ollie who enjoys meeting people as we do. A genuine 5 minute walk to the nearest restaurants

"Our stay at Sefton Homestay was our first night in New Zealand, and gave a very good introduction to the standards of comfort and hospitality you could expect from homestays here. We were somewhat jet lagged and slept for most of our time at Sefton in a very comfortable bed after using the lovely hot shower in the spacious bathroom. Our hosts - Trish & John - were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to eat very well presented. And a patient hostess to answer our string of questions about this new country. Timaru is conveniently situated for people flying into Christchurch and heading south to break their journey. And Sefton Homestay would be our recommendation as a place to stay.
