Hunters House is architecturally designed for guests and features every comfort in a warm welcoming environment. It overlooks the native tussocks and trees of the Green Belt on the township boundary with the mountains as a backdrop. All rooms are tastefully decorated with all facilities and french doors opening to the peaceful outdoors sited for the sun and views. We also have a self contained cottage fully equiped with all home comforts and same views Situated in its own private setting. "Cead Mile Failte"

"Anne and Matt Hunter have a beautiful house which they open up to guests. We were made really welcome upon arrival. Our room was spacious and really comfortable. The level of luxury is well above what you would expect in a homestay more akin to a top hotel. We were provided with lots of information about the area and where to eat. Breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from using local produce. The stewed plums were absolutely delicious and the cooked parts tailored to how you liked things cooked. We thoroughly recommend a stay at Hunter's House homestay, it must be one of the top B&Bs in New Zealand.
