Really enjoyed our stay at City Sanctuary. The house is beautiful, very old but well restored. Great room and huge, well equipped guest lounge. Karen and Paul were very interesting hosts and provided a great breakfast. Coveniently located for Dunedin City, (once we managed the very hilly terrain!). Would have liked to stay longer to see more of Dunedin.

Everything was perfect! From the smell of the fresh bread in the morning, and flowers & magazines in the room to the genuine welcome from our hosts - it couldn't have been better. Truely a 10/10.

Great house with lots of space, lovely bed in beautiful blue room, very hospitable, good tourist advices from hosts, out of the 25 B&B's we visited in NZ you were the best! Dunedin was awesome with its wildlife and history. Thanks again and we certainly will visit you again.

A warm, welcoming, helpful and interesting couple. To be able to book a massage each on arrival with our hostess Karen - just across the hall from our bedroom was a big plus factor for oldies like us after a day in the car. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights stay here in Dunedin.

We have stayed three nights in the B&B "City Sanctuary" in Dunedin ; it has been our best stay during our vacation in New Zealand. The hosts are very friendly, ready to answer our questions about New Zealand, and very knowledgeable about activities, itineraries, restaurants, etc The house is charming and all nicely renovated, the bedrooms are very spacious, we could access the living room, boardgames and books, and the breakfast is very good, with organic food and a healthy choice We strongly recommend it (and we were a family of 5, with small children) I am sure that Paul and Karen have been working hard to set up their B&B and they have achieved an excellent result !
