Allow at least 2 days to explore beautiful coastal Otago and enjoy cafes, restaurants, historic buildings and walks, white sanded beaches, nature reserves and yellow eyed penguins, seals and birdlife at Tavora Reserve. Moeraki Boulders and Fleurs Restaurant at Moeraki Village - 20 minutes north.
Only an hour to Rail Trail start at Middlemarch or Hyde. Macraes Mine, a 30 drive.
