Welcome to our B&B/Homestay set in four acres on the Waitangi River. Stroll through our native bush & gardens, home to many NZ birds including Moreporks. You might also like to feed our alpacas (Anzac & TimTam), sheep (#1 & #38) and Pollox the goat. Our cat, Panpoot, is rather timid but very gentle.
We offer a full breakfast using local produce whenever possible and our very friendly hens happily provide free range organic eggs for your breakfast. We can advise you on local places to dine or perhaps we can share some stories over a gourmet or light evening meal (menus available).
We are both "Kiwi" born & bred and have travelled throughout NZ, the Pacific and some parts of Europe. Please feel free to pick our brains about Northland & the rest of New Zealand. We have free WiFi so you can book ahead and of course keep in touch with family & friends.
The Riverview & Waitangi rooms have a private deck, king bed, 2-seater sofa, coffee table, TV/DVDs, welcome pack, tea/coffee/refrigerator and an ensuite (Riverview has a large corner bath and separate shower). The Puketona room has a king or twin beds, chair, side table, TV/DVDs, welcome pack, tea/coffee/refrigerator and an ensuite. As this room is not on the river side of the house there is a table & chairs on the BBQ decks for our Puketona guests.

"Stayed for New Year's Eve 2012 and just like the rest of the reviews, the accommodation and hosts were fantastic, brilliant and outstanding. Paul was more than helpful with advising activities and much more. Unfortunately we could only stay one night but we will not think twice about joining them again. The hosts were very welcoming and the room/property was marvellous. Breakfast was also scrumcious. 10/10 and will recommend to all. It's 8 k's from Paihia but feels less. Thanks again to Paul & Barbara
