Enjoy Marineland Heritage House B & B/Guesthouse, built in the 1920's for the local Doctor and then changed to a Guesthouse in the early 60's. All downstairs rooms have ensuites and the upstairs rooms have shared bathrooms. Marineland is a traditional style B & B, rooms and ensuites are not as large as in modern accommodation. Rooms have electric blankets, hairdriers & tea/coffee making facilities. A comfortable lounge with Wireless Internet access & Free To Air TV. Adjacent to the lounge is the breakfast room for our "Picton Breakfast", a wheat & gluten free option is available. We offer a laundry for guests use between 1-7pm and some on site parking. A large in-ground swimming pool which is most enjoyable to relax by , even if you don't want to swim. We are a few minutes walk from town centre & water front. Marineland Heritage House B & B/Guesthouse offers the ideal accommodation for those starting and finishing their adventure on the Queen Charlotte Track, we offer an early breakfast in time for guests wanting to catch the first boats leaving for the Queen Charlotte Track and also offer complimentary luggage storage while they away walking.

"Nice place - good value for money, very comfortable bed and a great breakfast before starting the Queen Charlotte Track. Nice to be able to stay at the end of our hike and do the laundry. Joy & Richard

Location Information

Picton is a small seaside town over looking a stunning harbour where to Ferry's arrive from the North Island. It is the gateway to the Marlborough Sounds area and the area is well worth stopping to explore when travelling in New Zealand.
