The house is purposely built to accommodate you in the best possible way, and only 3km to the city centre, in an easy to find, friendly, tree-lined street. Your large ensuite rooms are $100 with microwave, fridge and jug. There is also a computer available to keep in contact with friends and family. Self-catering options are available in the apartment, which sleeps 5 for $100-$130. Directions; SH74 Barbadoes Street, Waltham Road, Wilsons Road, right into Gamblins Road, first left is Ngaio Street.

"Had a self-catering one-bedroom apartment for 3 nights. It was one of the best places I have used in decades of travel, here and o/s. Private, light and airy (and leafy), cosy, spacious, beautiful joinery, appealing decor, comfortable bed. Very nice proprietor; discreet and yet most helpful.
