The Green House on the Hill is a Vegetarian owned B&B, only 5 minutes walk from the heart of Art Deco Napier, yet set in quiet woodland, with plenty of native birds and sea views! We offer a friendly, smoke-free environment to our guests. Happy to cater for special diets, just let me know!

"I had the pleasure of staying in this B&B in Napier while attending a conference. The B&B is amazing, more like having my own little house on the hill - my double room was clean and bright with large windows overlooking the hill side trees and plants, private living room with T.V. and DVD player, coffee making facilities and mini fridge, good sized bathroom - clean and spacious, own private entrance, as well as a large deck area over looking the hill and beach/sea in the close distance. The B&B is in walking distance of shops and Marine Parade where the beach and War Memorial centre is located. Ruth and Jerry were lovely hosts, welcoming, warm, very helpful and knowledgeable about Hawkes Bay. Each morning Ruth was in the kitchen preparing breakfast - choice of cereal, fruit, toast - homemade bread, croissant, jam, with coffee/tea/juice. This B&B is just as good if not better than the hotels. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Napier!
