"We stayed at Steve and Marie for 1 night and it is a beautiful place und such a lovely hospitality, that we decided to come back two days later. We enjoyed our stay there so much and get so many important information for our further day`s on the coromandel island that we only could say "Thank your for all !". "You'll be very happy here! We stayed for three nights in early January 2011 and found this to be an excellent choice. Marie and Steve are very thoughtful hosts and their home is immaculate and beautifully presented but not in a pretentious way where you can't relax - this is a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The little things matter a lot - like enjoying quality bed linen and towels, and also since we stayed three days Marie and Steve varied the breakfast which was appreciated (and absolutely delicious every time) The house overlooks Waihi Beach and has been very well designed. Once you are in the 2 bedroom apartment you have great privacy and its very sound proof too. The apartment is extremely spacious and its great to be able to put all your gear in the bathroom and the bedroom with ample bench space. Its an easy walk to the beach or a beachside cafe for dinner, and there is a separate off street entrance for when you return so you don't go through the house. Marie gave us a 4 cent discount petrol voucher for our hire car when we left, which was such a nice thought. We commend the Quinlans and wish them well."
