FABULOUS LOCATION, SPECTACULAR VIEWS AND 5 STAR HOSPITALITY
If you are into views and great hospitality this is the place to stay. Pacific View is a small boutique B&B offering quality accommodation. It is in a spectacular location at the top of the highest hill in Whangamata on the Coromandel Peninsula, with stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, offshore islands and overlooking the town and estuary.
Within this lovely contemporary home guests have a choice of three luxuriously appointed rooms accessed by an elevator. The Pacific King ensuite room with own wrap-around balcony located on the top level of the home; the Pacific Queen Room with private bathroom (located in the middle level), and on the ground floor the Coromandel Room with large ensuite bathroom and picture window with views. Imagine sitting on the balconies sipping a glass of champagne watching the boats coming and going past the surfers on the famous Whanga bar as the sun sets over the Coromandel Range.
It is an easy 2 hour drive from Auckland International Airport, and it is just perfect for a short stay at the beginning or end of your New Zealand holiday. From Pacific View you can tour all of the Coromandel Peninsula driving the Peninsula loop in a day or alternatively take a day trip up to Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach and Cooks Cove. They are just a short drive away.
Your hosts Kathryn and Peter are passionate about The Coromandel and welcome you to share their beautiful home and facilities. They both enjoy golf, gardening and beach walks and Peter is an enthusiastic fisherman (ocean and fly) and is happy to coordinate and accompany you on fishing trips. As well as being a fisherman's paradise Whangamata also offers virgin bush walks, fabulous surf beaches, kayaking and the opportunity to try Stand Up Paddle Boarding. If you do nothing else make sure you walk our spectacular 4km long Whangamata Beach famous for its surf breaks and excellent swimming.
Whanamata Township is an ideal base from which to explore the rest of our beautiful Coromandel Peninsula, so we invite you to rest awhile and spend time with us at Pacific View.
