Property Description

We are a recently retired couple who love gardening, fishing, hunting and overseas travel. We share our home with a small 3 yr old cavalier king charles / low-chen cross dog who is very lovable and smart. Our property is surrounded by many NZ native trees, which provide a haven for many birds including the Bell-bird. This is a very quiet and relaxing part of Kaikoura. There are many beautiful walk tracks within walking distance of our home that provide amazing panoramic sea and mountain views.
Your room is heated and has a 32 inch wall mounted flat screen TV, a queen electric blanket for those colder nights, tea and coffee making facility, a refrigerator, microwave and a toaster for you to prepare your continental breakfast. The Spa pool is directly outside your sliding door and is available on request free of charge. Your own personal bathroom is across the hall from your room and a hairdryer and a washing machine is available if required.

"We were able to reserve a room at last minute and were so glad we did. The accomodations were perfect. They even have a hot tub for private use. The do it yourself continental breakfast was perfect for us and we had more than enough to eat. Ruth and Brian were lovely to visit with and had lots of stories and advice abut touring. We had out best dinner there at Tu Tu's downtown and a lovely country walk down to the bay. Thanks for everything! I have the little kiwi in a place of prominence in our home!!! Karen"

"We stayed at Ruths place at Queens Birthday 2014 and had a wonderful time. Ruth and Brian are really lovely people who go out of their was to make you feel welcome. They are a real credit to Kaikoura. If you are looking for a nice place to relax and chill out then I highly reccommend RUTHS PLACE"
