Located in the foothills of Canterbury with panoramic views of the Southern Alps, we are only 15 minutes from Mt Hutt Ski Area and Methven. Situated on the Inland Scenic Route 72, one hour from Christchurch Airport, 3 hours drive from Kaikoura or Hanmer Springs and en route to Mt Cook and Queenstown destinations. Our homestead is amongst 3 acres of parklike gardens and beyond this we graze cattle and sheep. Feed pet deer and sheep and watch sheep dogs at work! Warm comfortable, quality accommodation and great food.

"We stayed for one night in May 2009. We wer made so welcome, enjoyed the best roast lamb dinner and apricot dessert. Anna showed us the working dogs in action and I enjoyed feeding the baby deer and calf. IWe loved it so much I am returning in November
