Our home is in the beautiful suburb of Ilam, only minutes from Canterbury University and Canterbury University College of Education. Close to Christchurch Airport (7 minutes by car) and the railway station (10 minutes). A bus stop to the central city, with its many attractions is 50 metres from our home. Willing to arrange transport from airport or train.Excellent local information. Guests are welcome to use our laundry. Complimentary tea and coffee at any time. Stay with us and get value for money.

We cherish our visits with Anne and Tony Fogarty. Our stays with them epitomize the homestay experience, and we stay with them when we arrive in and prepare to depart from NZ. We are very comfortable in their home and always feel welcome, like cousins visiting from America. They give wonderful advice and are generous with help. They have taken us to the train station for the Tranzalpine and to the Ellerslie Flower Festival so that we do not need to worry aboout parking. We recommend their homestay highly, especially to visitors new to NZ.
