Quality accommodation with a personal touch, since 1991. The house is purposely built to accommodate you in the best possible way, and only 3km to the city centre, in an easy to find, friendly, tree-lined street. Your large ensuite rooms are $100 with microwave, fridge and jug. There is also a computer available to keep in contact with friends and family. Self-catering options are available in the apartment, which sleeps 5 for $100-$130. Our children are 21 and 18 years old. Directions; SH74 Barbadoes Street, Waltham Road, Wilsons Road, right into Gamblins Road, first left is Ngaio Street.
 

What to expect:

Had a self-catering one-bedroom apartment for 3 nights. It was one of the best places I have used in decades of travel, here and o/s. Private, light and airy (and leafy), cosy, spacious, beautiful joinery, appealing decor, comfortable bed. Very nice proprietor; discreet and yet most helpful.

We were made extremly welcome by our host Hans. He kindly left us to sleep after the long flight from the UK. In the morning we were greeted by a delicious breakfast and later he joined us to chat, compare cultures and discuss a huge range of issues! A fantastic start to our trip to NZ.
