Ashfields offers luxury accommodation, that, while attached to the main house, is very self-contained with a separate guest bedroom, ensuite, living room and kitchenette. French doors open onto a private courtyard garden and deck with a BBQ for guest use.

We also offer a bedroom upstairs in the main house, with private guest bathroom downstairs.

All bedroom linen is 100% pure cotton. The duvets are feather or pure cotton depending on the season.

We can provide your breakfast provisions for you to prepare at your leisure or you can order a delicious cooked breakfast. We also offer BBQ hampers or light meals which are especially good to have on arrival if you are tired after a long journey.

You are free to wander in the garden and orchard, swim in the pool, play petanque, hit a few golf balls in the adjoining paddock - or just relax on the deck with a good book!

Your hosts Kate and Russ will ensure your stay is all you could wish for. We have lived in the area for 25yrs and over that time we have developed our kiwifruit orchard, our home and surrounding 2 acres of garden.

Should you wish to venture out, Whakatane and the surrounding area has much to offer with fabulous walks, beaches and many outdoor activities such as White Island tours, fishing, diving, kayaking and golf.

We are about 50 minutes from Rotorua and Tauranga and the gateway to the beautiful East Coast
