Photos of Devand
Enjoy quiet, quality, rural accommodation with friendly hosts on a small Red Devon beef cattle stud farm, with olives and blueberries also grown. We have a wide range of interests, from vintage vehicles to horses, tree crops and photography and have travelled widely. We have one shy cat and a large, attractive garden with both fruit trees and ornamentals and a large pond.
We provide two or three course evening meals by prior arrangement with complimentary New Zealand wines and/or beer, all from our own and locally grown produce whenever possible. Free range products used. Special diets also can be catered for with prior notice.
Relax in the lounge or on the spacious, sunny deck or in the shade, wander in the garden or see the farm. Cosy log fires in winter.
We have parking for boat trailers and are only 15 minutes from the CBD and boat ramp.

"We stayed at Devand for 2 days and Gayle and John looked after us very well. We enjoyed looking round the farm and the meals and rooms were excellent. We look forward to returning in the future."
"John and Gayle made me very welcome at Devand for two nights during my travels around the North Island. Room was perfect, and the breakfasts plentiful. Also had an optional two course dinner, which was a very good meal. Both have an excellent knowledge of the local area. Would highly recommend as a good location, even though a little way out of town."
"John and Gayle are a lovely couple and made us feel at home, showing us round their homestay and feeding us plenty of locally grown produce. Will look forward to another visit some day."
