Barbie Bell, and husband Dr David Scott, invite you to share their renovated Birdwood House in Hillcrest on Auckland's North Shore.
The colonial farmhouse style villa, wrapped with verandas, and a courtyard, is set amongst native bush and birds.
Guests are offered three tastefully furnished bedrooms with best quality beds and cotton bed linen, wool duvets, underlays and pillows, TV, robes and tea/coffee.
The modern bathrooms are tiled, with under-floor heating and one has a claw-foot bath.
Breakfast, served in our formal dining room, or on the veranda, has an emphasis on home-made cuisine, an elegant affair with linen napkins, candles and silver cutlery, described by a previous guest as "A dinner-party at breakfast time!"
Enjoy a port wine while listening to music or reading a book from our library.
*Ask about our beachfront self-catering apartment with thermal spa at Waiwera, 35 minutes from the North Shore.
